Sunshine in the Haze

I absolutely love music! In fact, I’m listening to music as we speak. For a while I actually wanted to be a singer. Dreams, am I right? Music isn’t just a wonderful sound to my ears though, music is so much more!

It can encourage you to heal or it can break you into a billion pieces, it all depends on what you’re listening to. That’s why it’s so important to pay close attention to those lyrics and what they mean. I have an entire list of 100 awesome, uplifting Christian songs (and counting), so I could make tons of lists, but for now I’ll just stick to the popular topic of fear. The songs below are for the days you are trying to fight off those negative feelings. Sometimes we are so caught up in our fear that we forget that we just need to be still. (Song #3) It can be super hard to see past our fear, making it hard to see what has been right in front of us. God is always moving and we can become so overwhelmed with fear that we forget to see it. Slowly breath in through your nose and then exhale through your mouth. Slow down a little bit and allow God to open your blinded heart.
