If you want the video form of this video, I recorded this just for you (or your friend that refuses to read but will watch every reel put in front of them *hint hint*) because I’m that passionate about this topic!
Start Praying Bold Prayers for 2026
I was reading through my 2025 prayers this morning, and a small entry popped out to me. I feel it summed up the year quite well for me—a swinging pendulum of fearing the unknown and boldly praying for valleys if it meant I would meet God at the top of the mountain.

I feel like every turn of 2025 was laborious. I acknowledge that it was a fantastic year, but I hold space for the challenges I battled.
I’ve always tried to pray BOLD prayers (even praying for strength to remain humble in seasons of pride), so I can’t complain when God answers my prayers in a bold way. That’s what 2025 was—a year of boldly answered prayers.
Part of me wants to give up the life of bold praying. Not because I haven’t seen God come through, but because God has answered every single prayer in some way or another. Those bold prayers received bold answers that forced me to sacrifice my own will, and my will is the hardest thing to put down.
So here’s my encouragement to you: If you’ve never received a bold answer from God, start praying boldly.
What does bold prayer look like? Bold prayer looks like bold faith. I will be the first to say I’m weak in my faith at times, but no matter how hard Satan presses me with the fear of the unknown, I refuse to live a life unmarked by faithful prayer. “Your will be done, not my own.”
Sacrificing myself on the altar last year has me questioning if I want to do it again, but I will. I expect nothing less out of 2026.
I will continue to pray with a crazy yearning for bold, big things & steady peace as God reveals His plans for this new year. If His answers to my prayers look less like blessings and more like tribulations, then in my tears I will rejoice because the God I will get to know in the valley is also waiting at the mountaintop.
Let your bold prayer be this simple declaration: Lord, build the mountains that I will first acquaint by sitting in their valleys.
And you’ve been praying boldly and feeling defeated, please keep praying. Please keep praying with faith and laying your own will on the altar. Our Lord is a present God (Psalm 34:18).
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:14-19, NKJV
