When I first started blogging, these questionnaires and awards were passed around like crazy. I stared at them longingly, wishing I could join in on the fun.
Now I’ve been nominated twice in a year!
The rules are pretty simple:
- Display the award’s official logo somewhere on your blog.
- Thank the person who nominated you.
- Provide a link to your nominator’s blog.
- Answer your nominator’s questions.
- Nominate up to 11 bloggers.
- Ask your nominees 11 questions.
- Notify your nominees by commenting on at least one of their blog posts.
Sunshine Blogger Award Extravaganza
This go around, the wonderful Autumn Grace tagged me with 11 questions of her own. And yes, we have the same first name. That’s how we bonded. 😃
Let’s get started!
❤️❤️❤️
What is your favorite TV show?
Why must this question be so hard? I love Disney and Nickelodeon classics like Hannah Montana and Victorious, but I also love shows like Reacher, The Green Arrow, and the Sherlock Holmes with Benedict Cumberbatch.
There’s no way I could pick a favorite out of that wide range of genres! 🙈
If you had to choose to live in one part of the world for the rest of your life, where would it be?
Wherever God tells me to go. Right now, Missouri is that place. If it was up to me, I would probably lose my mind.
A part of me will always miss my home state, South Carolina, but if I’m not living by the ocean, I don’t think I want to live there.
Even then, I’m not sure if I would move back to the beach. It has its fair bit of down sides—hurricanes not even being the first on the list.
Would you rather visit the Mariana Trench, or the moon?
So Autumn Grace had to explain what the Mariana Trench was because I had never heard of it… Now that I know though, I would probably pick it over the moon.
I think the moon might be too far out of my comfort zone. *ba-dum-dum-tss*
In all seriousness, they’re both out of my comfort zone.
If you had to choose between books and writing for the rest of your life, which would it be?
As long as I can keep the Bible, writing 100%. It’s how I process my feelings. I can’t live stable without it.
What is your favorite book of the Bible?
Psalms and Ephesians. They’re both so enriching!
What was/is your favorite topic in school?
Would it surprise you if I said English? Because I was homeschooled, my mom let me take over my English curriculum in highschool. I was constantly looking up all the things.
From Oxford commas to the differences between all of the style manuals like MLA and APA. Oh the fun I had!
And yes, I even looked up the difference between geek and nerd. In case you’re curious, I’m a nerd.
If you could go back to one famous time in history (The Revolutionary War, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony Opening Night etc.) what would it be?
Well, when I was 16, I added visiting downtown Charleston, SC in the 1800s to my bucket list.
I want to see people on horses roaming the streets. I haven’t figured out how to mark it off yet.
What is your favorite animal?
As a kid, my favorite animal was elephants until I saw a zoo elephant invasively help another constipated elephant with its trunk… I’ve recovered, but my favorite animal is pandas now.
Are you an early bird of a night owl?
I prefer the beauty and freshness of morning hours, but my body refuses to be an early bird.
I’m a night owl 100%, which is challenging for my early bird husband.
Rather similar to question #7, what is one past famous person that you would like to meet?
Jesus after the resurrection. Just to see Him in human form, His kind eyes holding my gaze and love radiating off of Him, refreshing my soul.
I wish I was able to join Him and the disciples as they ate fish together on the shore.
I tag…
Since I’ve done this before, I’ve pretty much tagged everybody that I know already. And then I forgot to tell them they were tagged sooo… If you’ve scrolled this far, YOU’RE TAGGED!
Unless you’ve already done a Sunshine Award and don’t want to do it again.
I bestow you with 11 questions:
- What is your morning routine?
- What is your nightly routine?
- Who do you look more like (mom, dad, sibling, aunt, etc.)?
- What’s one thing you regretted doing at first, but then realized it wasn’t so bad?
- Who is your best friend? Family counts!
- If you had to tell your testimony in 10 words or less, what would you say?
- A play on the question I was asked, what is/was your least favorite subject in school?
- Can you touch the tip of your elbow with your tongue?
- Can you pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time?
- Did you actually try to lick your elbow and pat your head/rub your stomach just now?
- Are squirrels or chipmunks superior?
Thank you so much for reading! What is your favorite question of the eleven I listed?
