I feel like there’s a topic that needs to be touched with grace, love, and understanding. It’s a topic that nobody exactly wants to talk about or address, because it’s embarrassing or hard to read, but eating disorders must be addressed in a loving way more often.
This letter may be targeted towards the young, but it is for the young and old alike.
Dear young reader, this world is filled with thousands of trapping temptations, sins, and thoughts. You have fallen into one of these traps before, maybe you’re in one right now and you’re trying to get out of it.
I just read through the book of Esther in the Bible and I loved it! My favorite part of it was the beautiful moment in Esther’s life where she finally realized why she was put where she was. It finally clicked that she had a purpose bigger than she realized. Before I jump in any further, I want to give you the brief backstory leading up to this moment Esther’s life.
Psalm 139:13-14 (NKJV) “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.”
God knew exactly what He was doing when He made you. You’re here for a reason, no doubt about it! You may be flawed, but so am I and so is the rest of the world. We’re all beautifully imperfect. ❤
