It’s Okay to Feel Broken

As Christians, we can often find ourselves feeling bad for feeling broken. It doesn’t come as a shock to me though, considering everyone talks about how being one with God makes you whole.

It does! It truly does make you whole! God makes you whole in the form of having a heavenly home, someone to watch over you, to forgive you, to love you with unconditional love, and to guide you away from repeating bad habits. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t be devastated. It’s okay to feel a little broken or a lot broken. When you’re sad, you’re sad. It’s okay to be sad. It’s okay to be devastated. Don’t think that since you feel broken on the inside that you’re not a good Christian. Even Jesus cried. He wouldn’t just cry, but He would pray while doing so. That’s the key. It’s okay to feel broken, but fall to your knees in the midst of the heartache. That’s where you find true comfort. That’s where you meet God. That’s where you’re aches and pains find some joy… Where they find healing.

  1. Great Post At the end of the day many walk around with a guilt complex because of what’s been preached or taught. But God does not condemn us for He knows how it feels to be human and understands with His love, forgiveness and mercy. Blessings and Peace.
