I recently discovered podcasts and I couldn’t be more happy. Would you believe me if I told you that I have a folder on my phone with 5 apps dedicated to podcasts? Well, it’s true. Maybe I’m slightly obsessed… Today I’m doing a quick review on Lauren Daigle’s brand new podcast, Daigle Bites!
First of all, look at that name. I mean, come on, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a creative name! Lauren Daigle is one of my favorite Christian artists, so when I first heard that she started a podcast I was super excited. (Though, I probably didn’t show it much… What can I say, I was informed about it when I was watching a movie.) Here are my honest thoughts:
Lauren Daigle describes her podcast as “completely unfiltered and off-the-cuff” and “a little bit of everything”. Her first episode was a Q&A about her music, including where the song “Rescue” came from. I really enjoyed it because I was inspired, laughed out loud, and found out some things about her that I didn’t know before. This all happened in literally 20 minutes! Her bubbly personality shines bright throughout the whole podcast, while reminding you that she’s human too. She also shares the secret of where all great songs come from. 😉 My only complaint about it is that it wasn’t longer, lol. At the moment, you can listen to it on YouTube, Stitcher, Spotify, Deezer, and Apple Podcast. If you’re a fan of Lauren Daigle or even if you’re not, I highly encourage you to listen to her podcast. It’s a definite 5 stars from me!
+3 More Must Listen To Podcasts
Whoa That’s Good Podcast by Sadie Robertson
Sadie Robertson was my very first *healthy role model, besides my wonderful mom of course, meaning that this is by far my personal favorite podcast! (It’s too soon to tell if Daigle Bites will be added to that category, but I have a feeling that it will be.) I love how Sadie is so genuine in the way that she is. This podcast is based off of one question… “What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?” Who knew how many meaningful and fun conversions one question could bring! Join Sadie as she interviews some amazing people like Cory Asbury and Amy Purdy. She ends every podcast with an enjoyable phone call with her mom, who brings another fun light to the podcast.
*To me, a healthy role model is one where you look up to certain attributes that you would like to get better at, but are, by no means, trying to be like them. You need to be you, not somebody else. God made you instead of a duplicate of your role model. Why is that? Because this world needs you, not just one person.

Jamie Grace and Morgan Harper Nichols are two lovable sisters with a great relationship and you can tell! This is my go-to podcast when I’m looking for a quality laugh.
